I had the privilage of meeting Melissa & Allan when I was working at Murphy's on the Water and was lucky enough to provide them with day of wedding coordination, and wow am I glad we crossed paths.
After meeting Melissa & Allan, I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of their upcoming wedding. I quickly observed that Melissa's kind, gentle manner and Allan's fun-loving, warm demenor compliment each other so well and make everyone around them feel at ease, myself included. Not only are Melissa & Allan two of the friendliest individuals I've met, but their famiy & friends of course are no different. I immediately felt like 'a part of the crowd' from rehearsal to reception & all throughout their wedding day.
Their wedding ceremony was held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront in Downtown Halifax. Imagine this... a not-too-hot but not-too-cold day on the Halifax waterfront, harbour mist drifting through the air & the sound of water rippling along the boardwalk - the perfect setting for an intimate harborside wedding in Downtown Halifax. After hearing a processional song recorded by Melissa's Sister & Father and with a few close family & friends in attendance, Melissa & Allan said their vows during an elegant ceremony overlooking the harbour.
Dinner was served in a private room at Da Maurizio as Melissa & Allan were surrounded by family & friends. Much laughter, celebratory toasts, and stories of Melissa & Allan's love filled the room for the remainder of their perfect wedding day.
